Gorham silver creations are quality craftsmanship and works of astounding beauty. From its beginnings in the 1800’s, Gorham Silver produced silverware speaking of authenticity and elegance. It was in 1831 when Jabez Gorham founded Gorham Silver. Gorham partnered with Henry L. Webster back then. That’s why Gorham silverwares with Gorham and Webster silver marks are known to be authentic vintage pieces and rare finds. There’s the Chantilly as well, one of Gorham Silver’s prominent silver designs created by William C. Codman, a famous designer. Codman created the Chantilly design in 1895, but to date, it is one of the most recognized silver pattern designs.
